We have partnered with Say It Now to power the future of interactive audio creation

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Say It Now, the UK leader in interactive voice technology, to empower audio creators through smart speaker innovation.

Through this collaboration, the ACCENT Academy development programme now provides selected creators with direct access to training, mentorship, and technical support in emerging voice and interactive audio formats. Over a 12-month period, participants will learn how to create audio experiences that actively engage listeners through voice technology and AI-powered tools.

Launched in September, the ACCENT Academy offers a free, year-long opportunity for both established and emerging creators to experiment, refine, and elevate their craft. The programme focuses on developing smarter formats, stronger shows, and distinctive storytelling while ensuring every participant retains full ownership of their intellectual property.

Participants will explore how to connect with audiences through interactive and conversational audio, building skills that position them at the forefront of an evolving industry where smart speakers and AI voice platforms are reshaping listener experiences.

James Brownlow, founder of ACCENT, said:

“Conversation technology is now as common in households as a kettle. The ACCENT Academy exists to ensure creators have the best tools to ride the audio point breaks of today and tomorrow. Partnering with Charlie and his team at Say It Now gives our chosen participants access to a world-class platform and skill set rarely available to creators in audio production globally. It is just as essential to the strategy of an ambitious start-up as it is to a major media network.”

Charlie Cadbury, CEO and co-founder of Say It Now, added:

“I am delighted to see this partnership come to life. The next generation of audio storytelling will be interactive, just as web and mobile transformed print through interactivity. Smart speakers and AI are now bringing audio to life, and Say It Now has always championed pioneers in this space. We are excited to partner with ACCENT and look forward to seeing the Academy flourish.”

Why this partnership matters for audio creators

This partnership represents a major step forward for creators aiming to work at the intersection of audio, AI, and interactivity. As smart speaker adoption continues to grow across the UK, Ireland, Australia, and beyond, the ability to design engaging voice-driven content will define the next era of audio innovation.

The ACCENT Academy and Say It Now collaboration is a unique opportunity for creators to gain hands-on experience with interactive storytelling, supported by industry experts shaping the future of smart audio experiences.
